Ron Internet 400 eyes brighterLooking for guidance when life situations are overwhelming is a sign of health and maturity. I believe in emphasizing and building on strengths and connecting with abilities with which you may have lost connection.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked with couples and families for over 25 years to help them overcome obstacles to a better family relationship.

I am active in the counseling process and will give you input and observations.  I am not just a passive listener.  Together, we can find solutions to your concerns.  You CAN turn things around and make progress.

I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and help people with addictive problems to avoid relapse risks, overcome obstacles, and move on to a life of sobriety.  My experience as a recovering alcoholic/addict with almost 30 years in recovery helps me relate to others who want to be sober.

As a clinical hypnotherapist, I want to help you engage your subconscious mind in the healing process.  The subconscious mind is a powerful ally.  I am a Certified Diplomate in Clinical Hypnotherapy with over 22 years of experience in using hypnosis and Rapid Resolution Therapy  to clear traumas, reduce fears and phobias, end habits like smoking or other addictions, and help with weight loss, sports enhancement, pain management, or additional personal issues.

My goal is to help you identify and remove obstacles that block your path to living a more meaningful and authentic life. My intention is to create a safe, supportive, and empathic atmosphere that facilitates your growth and progress. It is my hope that our work together will offer you the opportunity to examine your internal resources and skills. Using these tools will empower you to assume responsibility for creating the life you want to live. My experience includes helping clients with issues such as: intellectual and developmental disabilities, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, grief/loss, marital and family issues, and substance use issues.

Barry Anthony, LCDC

My specialty is focusing on the physical, mental and spiritual issues related to substance abuse.  I assist folks through education, support, and nonjudgmental confrontations.  Once there is honesty, individuals and their families can make much positive progress.

After several decades of personal addiction recovery, I am sure that anyone and everyone can recover and grow from personal issues.  Arming individuals and families with accurate information allows them to eliminate guilt stemming from faulty myths and unrealistic expectations.  Support comes from families, professionals, and networks of predecessors on similar journeys.  It is exciting to see clients recognize that support and use it to make progress.  After becoming connecting with spiritual concepts and having other realizations, people are able to journey towards their potential.

When you tap into the greatness of your human potential, along with an increased awareness of relapse behaviors and growth, you can stay sober and relationships improve greatly!
